Section B offers three extended response sets, each of which consists of three lengthier problems (often 2,6 & 8 marks). Candidates select which extended reply set(s) to respond to.
Paper 3: Data-Analysis - 20 percent SL, 24 percent HL
This exam paper, divided into two halves, assesses your experimental skills as well as all of your alternative topic knowledge. Section A offers shorter responses to questions on studies or data (using models from the core curriculum), with each question divided into numerous parts (I/ii/iii). Section B has shorter take questions on the chosen subjects, with various sections (I/ii/iii). Candidates select which choice topic to respond to on the basis of the IB curriculum.
