To teach one or more IB programmes, an education system must first undergo an authorisation process managed by the IBO; only then may it declare itself an IB school. PYP- Primary Years Programme
The PYP is designed for students’ age from three to twelve. It aims to motivate youngsters to be engaged and driven in their own studying by assisting them in investigating topics of interest to them.
It motivates kids to make links between disparate pieces of information, increasing their grasp of how the world actually works.
This inquiry-based method allows students to expand their knowledge by emphasising on how to acquire and how to search out.
The PYP curriculum is intended to provide students with a solid foundation in the traditional fundamentals of literacy and numeracy, while also emphasising wide communication skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and the capacity to apply learning in new settings.

MYP-Middle Years Programme
The MYP is designed for pupils aged 11 to 16. It lasts about five years, with classes separated into 8 subject groups.
Students also complete a personal project in their last year of study, which enables them to exhibit the knowledge and abilities they have gained during the programme. They are supposed to lead the procedure, with teacher supervision.

DP-Diploma Programme
Students who achieve a minimum of twenty four points and successfully execute the essential parts, including the EE-Extended Essay and TOK-Theory of Knowledge, are granted the IB Diploma. The results are given to students in July & January.
A student can earn a maximum of 45 points. Scores are calculated based on the assigned grades of 1-7 for each of the 6 subject areas, for a sum of 42 points, plus three extra points for the EE-Extended Essay and TOK-Theory of Knowledge components.
Against GCSEs and A Levels, which have suffered grade inflation and have been chastised for reducing standards, the IB has retained absolutely outstanding standards over the world for almost 40 years. The IBO reports that Diploma Programme pass rates have stayed steady at roughly 80%, with an average score of around 30 points.
